2026/2027 SEASON TRYOUTS
The 2026-27 Season tryouts will be held in June 2026. We are excited to see all of our players and families back at the rink for another full season of the sport we love. The 2025-2026 season was an amazing one, with eight of our teams making playoffs, one team winning the SCAHA championships in their division, and two teams making it to CAHA States. We look forward to continuing all of our successes into the new season. All tryouts will be held at the Los Angeles Kings Valley Ice Center. Check out the schedule below and register online early!
CALIFORNIA HEAT TRYOUT INFORMATION
The 2026-2027 California Heat Tryouts will be held at the LA Kings Valley Ice Center. When registering for tryouts please ensure you have registered with USA Hockey for the new season as well as SCAHA. Information is provided below. Players must check in each day they attend tryouts. The California Heat will provide a practice jersey for use during the tryouts. These jerseys must be returned ad the end of each tryout.
USA Hockey Registration
Please ensure you register for the 2026-2027 season with USA Hockey prior to tryouts. You will need your USA Hockey number when registering for tryouts. The 2026-2027 USA Hockey registration can be found at the following site: USA Hockey Registration
SCAHA Registration
Every Player is also required to register with the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association (SCAHA) for the 2026-2027 season. You will need your USA Hockey number when registering with SCAHA. Once registered, print out your certificate and bring it with you to tryouts. Returning families will need to log into their SCAHA account and complete registration for the new season.
