Welcome to the beginning of the best time your child will have in sports! We know you may have many questions and we are here to answer any questions you might have about the sport and help you get started. To begin with, let's start with the most basic question -
STEP #1
Valley Youth Hockey - Learn to Skate
Our Valley Youth In-House co-ed learn to skate program is open to children 6-15 years old. There are three levels to the program -
Nobles - designed to help beginner skaters with the basics of skating.
Royals - designed for players with beginner to intermediate skill levels.
Monarchs - designed for skaters with intermediate and advanced skill levels.

Learn to Play with Little Kings
The Little Kings Learn-To-Play Program is open to children 5-9 years old for first time players only. This great program will help your child build character, become a team player, and meet new friends while enjoying the great game of hockey! To be eligible your child must not have not participated in previous years or sessions of the Little Kings program.

Join the California Heat
The California Heat is dedicated to helping players understand and pursue their dreams. We are committed to offering a comprehensive developmental program with professional coaching, off ice training and athletic guidance. The California Heat Executive Board and Coaching staff aim to give our players the best hockey experience possible that will ultimately foster exceptional life-long values.
STEP #1
California Heat Mites Program
The CA Heat Mites program is for players 8 years old and younger. Players registered in the Mites program will have on ice skills development twice a week, off ice training once per week, participation in 8U travel jamborees, and tournaments throughout the year. This is an open registration, first-come first-serve program.
