Tier 2 overview

“Our Tier 2 (AA) hockey program is reserved for players between the ages of 12 and 18 (PeeWee, Bantam and Midget age ranges). It builds upon the skills and development work players received at the A/B level, and is one step below Tier 1 or AAA level hockey. 

The goals for all of our Tier 2 program are:

• To play team-first, strategically aggressive, “eyes up” hockey that takes advantage of open space and dictates the pace of play on both offense and defense

• To increase individual player skills in footwork and puck movement and shooting

• To create assertive, communicative and intelligent players who fully buy into adapting their game to meet the increased demands of Tier hockey

• To identify players who may benefit from a move from Tier 2 to Tier 1 AAA hockey”
