Coach Matt is a California native who grew up playing Tier hockey for the Los Angeles Jr. Kings before heading to prep school to play at Trinity-Pawling in the Founder’s League. After prep school, Matt played one year of Junior hockey in the USPHL. Matt has played for many respected coaches throughout his career. The most notable coach, Joe Trotta, was the video coach for the ‘07 Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup winning team. Using the knowledge learned from coaches who have been at the highest level, Coach Matt aims to bring detailed insight to the program and to send as many players as possible on to the next level.
